With the establishment of the Lions Education Fund, the Board of Directors of the Fund officially wrote to the Education Department to set up a vocational secondary school. After many years of the discussion, the establishment of Lions Vocational Training School in Kwai Chung, funded by Lions Education Foundation, was approved by the Education Department in 1995. The Opening Ceremony was officiated by Director of Education Yu Lai Ching-ping J.P. and District Governor So Chun Yu of the Lions Clubs International District 303 – Hong Kong & Macao on December 10, 1996. In 1997, the school renamed as Lions College with the approval of the Education Department.

Lions College is always providing high-quality education and developing the potenial of students with the spirit of Lionism and the motto "We Serve". The school is grateful for the generous donation and support from Lion Tseung Chui King, which helps enhancing the all-round development of students. With the support of Lions and approval of the Education Bureau, starting from January 2, 2024, Lions College will officially be renamed as "Lions Clubs International Tseung Chui King College"
