Quarry Bay Country Park ( Lions Wood)(1981)

For the sake of environmental conservation, the "Lions Wood" at Quarry Bay Country Park was an area specially allotted to the Lions Clubs International District 303 – Hong Kong & Macao by Agriculture & Fisheries Department. Because October was not suitable for planting, this project was divided into two stages. A plaque marking the Lions Wood was made after representatives from each club and cabinet planted forty trees at Lions Wood on October 18, 1981. On March 28 1982, 300 Lions, Lady Lions and Children planted more than 800 trees at the Lions Wood.
